Overview

Overview:

As the Supply Chain Systems Intern, you will partner with our Logistics, Warehousing, Merchandise Control and IT departments. You will provide project support relating to our major Supply Chain system initiatives for 2018, by assisting end users with functional development, testing, issue tracking and documentation. Currently, this includes a new third-party fulfillment system and additional capabilities to our existing Mobile Inventory Management platform used in-store.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Learn overview of all departments within Supply Chain, and how they facilitate the physical flow of goods from our vendors through eventual delivery to stores and eCommerce customers.
  • Understand third-party fulfillment system project functional requirements and develop test scripts
  • Become fluent in end-to-end Mobile Inventory management and assist with testing and issue documentation
  • Determine timing, location, resourcing for test activities and manage test process
  • Maintain issue log for software bug or process gaps encountered during testing
  • Documentation of user impact and training materials
  • Learn and execute quarterly liquidation analysis and provide recommendations
  • Learn and execute monthly missing items from web analysis for eCommerce
  • Complete a collaborative group project and presentation of a business initiative
  • Provide administrative support to the Digital department
  • Complete special projects as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited four-year college or university, preferably in Junior or Senior year
  • Demonstrated leadership  ability, prior retail experience a plus
  • High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, problem-solving and presentation skills
  • Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, while operating independently
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt well to change in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
