Overview

As the eCommerce Merchandising Intern you will work closely with the Buying, Planning and Allocation teams and help create, implement and maintain tools that support the eCommerce initiative.  The intern will play a critical role in helping to identify and resolve process issues, create and maintain eCommerce Merchandising assortment tools, and help create process/system training manuals.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in business process enhancements, including process design, testing, and change management training to support the Buying, Planning and Allocation teams
  • Identify and help implement enhancements to the core replenishment process and on order visibility
  • Maintain eCommerce Merchandising tools
  • Understand the responsibilities of the Buying, Planning and Allocation teams as related to eCommerce, in order to increase the efficiency of their work
  • Develop Microsoft Excel reports to support the roll-out of eCommerce

 

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an Associate or Bachelor’s degree program in Management Information Science or Business Administration with a concentration or interest in systems management or Information Technology
  • Strong computing skills, including a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Internet applications
  • Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, while operating independently
  • Strong, professional and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt well to change in direction and priority in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
  • Experience in retail is a plus
