Overview

The Sample Coordinator will be responsible for receiving, recording, and tracking the location and status of product samples in order to provide support to the eCommerce teams.  This position will be responsible for ensuring that samples are flowing between the Sample Processing team and the Photo Studio for e-Commerce product photography.  This position will assist in all aspects of the product photography process to ensure timely activation of product on the website, including the Photo Studio, Copy team and Photo Retouchers.  Attention to detail is key.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate purchase order data in database to determine future sample volume
  • Receive samples daily from Sample Processing team
  • Record receipt of samples in database and prioritize samples based on flow dates; ensure product and ticket accuracy
  • Steam and prep samples for product photography; deliver to Photo Studio and organize by flow dates
  • Maintain sample organization upon completion of ecommerce process; purge samples as needed based on agreed timeframe
  • Record progress and initiate image flow from the Photo Studio to Image Retouchers on a daily basis
  • Run weekly reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness of ecommerce sample process
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to Product Development, Buying, Marketing and IT
  • Assist Ecommerce team with special projects, as needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required
  • Intermediate degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
  • Ability to operate independently while establishing strong working relationships with co-workers and cross-functional teams
  • Strong, professional and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to foster a positive and motivating work environment, encouraging feedback and innovation
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail and deadlines
