  • Overview

    Create and interpret fashion design and graphics for unique company branded products. Interpret current fashion trends seen in print and movies and television to create latest fashion look and feel specifically for company product price range and target customer demographic.  


    • Gives options for stripe layouts – including all measurements and colors.
    • Develops a color card each season with buyer through research on trend web sites as well as the Pantone books. 
    • Communicates Pantone colors to vendors.
    • For trim packages, works with product and buyer to determine all pertinent details and then communicates them to the vendors.
    • Works with the buyers on marketing on any given product – candy cane canister, hangtags for garments, and cardboard bands for leggings.
    • Develops multiple options for packaging of new product launches – fragrance cartons, and cosmetic bands/bib artwork
    • Researches new ideas for product details – appliqué options, and screen trends for tees.
    • Assists with CAD work for the Marketing and Visual Departments when requested.


    • College degree required
    • 5+ year experience in design preferred
    • Strong aptitude with all Adobe programs (i.e. Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, etc)
    • Prior retail experience preferred
    • High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
    • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, and presentation skills
    • Ability to operate independently while establishing strong working relationships with co-workers and cross-functional teams
    • Strong, professional and effective verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to foster a positive and motivating work environment, encouraging feedback and innovation
