  • Overview

    The Staff Accountant provides support to the Accounting Department in the areas of account analysis and monthly reconciliations, general ledger management, journal entry postings, corporate forecasting and budgeting as well as special projects as assigned.


    • Assist with month-end, quarterly, and annual closing processes

    • Analyze financial transactions and ensure that they are appropriately recorded in the general ledger
    • Prepare and review journal entries
    • Conduct general ledger account analysis
    • Prepare monthly account reconciliations of general ledger accounts
    • Assist with preparing operating expense budgets
    • Assist with corporate forecasting
    • Complete special projects as assigned



    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
    • Experience in an accounting role preferred
    • High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
    • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, and presentation skills
    • Ability to operate independently while establishing strong working relationships with co-workers and cross-functional teams
    • Strong, professional and effective verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to foster a positive and motivating work environment, encouraging feedback and innovation
    • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail and deadlines
