The Marketing Analytics Coordinator will be a part of the Consumer Engagement & Marketing Analytics team at rue21. The team is the principal authority on the rue21 customer, marketing analytics, web analytics, and is charged with championing the voice of our customer and designing innovative, engaging programs for targeted customers. The Consumer Engagement team is integral to the success of rue21 marketing.
The Marketing Analytics Coordinator will report directly to the Manager, Marketing Analytics, and will contribute to the team by providing supportive data preparation, reporting, insightful analytics, and by assisting with ad-hoc analytics requests. Ad-hoc requests may fall in the realms of digital marketing performance KPI reporting, online and instore attribution of media spend, customer retention/acquisition projects, website optimization, financial model building, customer analytics, statistical analysis, website tagging, or data prep/pull.
The ideal candidate must be able to quickly respond to requests for information, must have a strong sense of urgency, and must be able to quickly course correct in an environment that changes rapidly. The ideal candidate will show a strong willingness to learn and share knowledge. The ideal candidate will have some combination of experience in data pull/prep, reporting, analytics, and/or html/website tagging/statistical analysis.
0-1 years of experience with a strong, hands-on background in marketing, ecommerce, or analysis
Demonstrated ability to effectively use Microsoft Excel
Demonstrated ability to use web analytics and digital marketing tools, particularly Google 360 suite
