  • Overview

    Develop and execute inventory management plans for specific product categories. Manage merchandise assortment and inventory levels by location.


    • Create and maintain store volume and segmentation clusters that drive assortment planning, buying and allocation strategies.
    • Manage pre-pack configuration by size for assigned product categories ensuring pack sizes service customer demand.
    • Develop Allocation strategies for replenishment, fashion and seasonal product.
    • Develop location sales and inventory plans ensuring inventory levels are balanced to drive sales and align with presentation levels, floor set directives and store format constraints.
    • Oversee the assortment planning process ensuring choice counts and depth support store needs and strategic vision.
    • Initiate conversation with management and cross functional partners to provide recommendations.
    • Analyze on an ongoing basis all aspects of store sales, inventory, turn and trends by store clusters.
    • Support Field Teams through Top Store Company initiatives and ongoing analytics.


    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain/Logistics or related field
    • 2-3 years’ experience in Allocation, Store Planning or Assistant Buyer preferred
    • Strong analytical, prioritization, interpersonal and planning skills
    • Excellent communication, both written and verbal and problem solving skills
    • Knowledge of MID Allocation/Store Planning Software and Micro strategy preferred
    • High proficiency in MS Office Suite
    • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
