  • Overview

    As the Marketing Operations Intern, you will work as a go-between Project Managers / Inner Office Project Owners and Creative. Your primary mission is to ensure all projects and inventory are completed at or above expectations, on time and within budget. You are collaborative, confident, resourceful, and can multi-task to ensure a smooth workflow. 

     

    This is a paid internship (40 hours per week). The duration of the Summer Internship Program is approximately 12 weeks beginning in May 2019.

    Responsibilities

    It is important to have relationship-building skills with all teams. Ability to adapt well to change, direction and priority in a fast-paced environment. Throughout the day you will be responsible for:

    • Ensuring projects are prioritized, scoped, assigned (to both in-house staff and outside vendors) and delivered on time throughout the entire project.
    • Being accountable for projects staying on track and that necessary resources are available.
    • Works closely with vendors to execute the print buying process from start to finish.
    • Manages the Purchase Order process.
    • Effectively communicate with all parties to ensure projects are completed efficiently and remain on production schedule.
    • Conducting daily update meetings; communicating status and determine next steps.
    • Making sure that all projects adhere to creative requests, as well as finalized design plans prior to project kick-off and throughout project.
    • Producing weekly update reports on all projects.
    • Responsible for managing and executing all functions related to product marketing.
    • Assist in Inventory Management of marketing signage and supplies for the Distribution Center.
    • Assist in planning and executing any special events or projects for the Corporate Office.
    • Responsible for weekly market research & special retail marketing projects

    Qualifications

     

    • Must be enrolled in an accredited four-year college or university, preferably in your Junior or Senior year; Marketing or Business majors strongly preferred
    • Knowledge of creative and production functions to ensure accurate timelines are established and met.
    • Highly organized and deadline oriented skills.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Being adept at changing priorities and working independently on multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
