1. Supervise accounting team members responsible for COGS, inventory and sales audit activities
2. Process, analyze and provide guidance for all Sales, COGS and gross margin transactions
3. Manage the physical inventory activities in partnership with Store Operations
4. Support periodic audit activities; including bank reviews and external auditor requests
5. Ensure company compliance with GAAP requirements
6. Review and analyze reserve requirements, initiating recommended changes to reflect business environment fluctuations
7. Supervise and review all monthly closing activities, providing variance analysis as needed
8. Prepare and review ad hoc analysis
9. Partner with Loss Prevention to mitigate risk and loss
10. Provide budget and forecasting analysis as required
11. Provide appropriate inventory and related balance sheet analysis as required to support business activities
12. Provide support for the reconciliation of merchandise open to buy plans and financial plans
